Rocking chair was cracked - a little glue fixed it!*TWO* BROKEN piecesI have ordered 4 different Tender Leaf furniture sets for a dollhouse Christmas present. The first set (kitchen) arrived today and I’m completely UNIMPRESSED. Two of the major pieces are broken. In addition, the finish detail is not what I would expect considering the price point of Tender Leaf. While the company’s designs are adorable, the quality does not justify the price so far. Fingers crossed that I can get the sets I need in good condition or I’ll be returning them all and buying a different brand.UPDATED:I’m editing my review from 2 stars to 4 stars. I received the replacement kitchen set, as well as the 3 other sets, and they are in much better condition- no broken pieces. My final analysis is, while these sets are super cute, the finish detail (visible glue, paint chips, connection gaps, etc) on many pieces is sloppy. Not a huge deal, but I expected better considering these are on the high end of children’s dollhouse furniture. If I were to buy again, I would probably go with one of the lower-priced brands. They might not be as cute, but their sturdiness and detail quality is nearly equal at a much lower price point. I expect I’ll have to keep glue handy for future repairs. One positive is these sets are made in Indonesia, not China. That’s a big plus for me.I actually love the aesthetic of the Tender Leaf Dollhouse sets. My issue is I bought two for my daughters birthday at the end of July and My daughters birthday was yesterday. So I had no way of realizing that my item had a broken piece until my daughter opened her presents yesterday. I don't want a return or a refund.. I was just hoping to get a replacement for the defective item i was shipped in the wrapper, in the package. Unfortunately, I can't place an order because you only have a month after buying the item to do so which is understandable except for people like me who like to be ahead when it comes to buying gifts.On top of that two other items from my other set (Tender Leaf Dollhouse Study Furniture) have already broken within the first day of my daughter playing with them. Like the chair for the desk and easel keep coming apart. I do love the way the other furniture looks in the dollhouses though. Just a bit disappointed that they aren't more durable.Baby is adorable, furniture is adorable. Just love this little set. Blanket does come out of the crib so can be hard to locate at times when the dollhouse gets messy*** Received replacement set today with no issues very happy with this company and how they handled this. Thank you.******UPDATE- got in touch with the sales manager and he will be shipping a new set. They have been helpful and very professional.***My daughter was ecstatic when this arrived. However, upon opening the box was a huge disappointment. The chair was broken in three pieces, and almost every piece had either marks, chips, stained with glue and dirty. For the price and from this company I expected a much better and higher quality product.I ended up getting all the dovetail furniture for my daughter. It’s certainly cute! Only one of the pieces came broken, and it was nothing some krazy glue wouldn’t fix.My biggest issue is with the baby set. The baby can’t sit in the high chair. She kiiiind of fits in the stroller. It’s like no one play tested it.We have the same issue with the cats and the cat tower toys. There’s a little hammock but it’s too small for the cats to go in.I know wooden toys are more durable, more environmentally friendly, etc. but what’s the point in buying them if they can’t be fully played with?Mine came with pieces that had fallen off and we had to re-glue back on, right out of the box, like the handles on the refrigerator, one of the shelves. I imagine we will have to keep the glue handy. My daughter bought the living room set and the dollhouse that also had pieces that she had to re-glue back together.Other than that it is a cute set, my grandaughter really enjoys it.I bought the whole dovetail set for our doll house and my daughter is obsessed however a few of the peices came broken and one broke as she was playing with it. I did manage to out them back together myself with some wood glue though and they have held up so far. If your child is really rough with toys I would reconsider buying or having alot of wood glue on hand.Ein super Geschenk zum Geburtstag meiner Enkeltochter. Die Möbel sind naturgetreu nachgearbeitet, farbenfroh gestaltet im Pastellton, solide verarbeitet, robust und handlich auch für kleine Kinderhände. Der Preis ist etwas intensiv - aber Qualität hat eben ihren Preis. Ich hoffe, meine Enkelin spielt noch lange damit.So cute...I can’t wait to give it to my granddaughter.Absolutely LOVE this entire line of furniture. A few of the pieces came broken but easily glued back together. Wish I could give more stars!
